I tried to watch this one movie, "Synechode, New York"

Honestly the most boring and depressing miserable and borderline incoherent movie I have ever seen.

Couldn't finish it. I quit an hour and 20 minutes in.

another thing that bothers me: movies often seem to have multiple climaxes

Like there will be this massive, intense fight scene that lasts 20-30 minutes, and then the movie just goes on, and by the real climax i feel burned out and uninterested.

there was a thread about taxi driver yesterday and it reminded me why I like it so much; the climax where travis shoots the pimps is really the only scene of its kind in the movie, things lead up to it so it has maximum impact
