For what it's worth these two weren't poor, they were just in the hospital during Christmas for whatever reason.
My dad was rich but grew up poor and had his family over lots, who were very worried we would get spoiled. Fast forward to 16 years old and I'm amazed my poor friend has an old TV in his ROOM! WITH CABLE

Meanwhile I shoveled shit in my mom's horse barn and shared a TV and Computer with my three siblings on spotty DSL. And my mom would buy a new $10,000 saddle every three months, shop daily and drink her self to sleep nightly.

My family is pretty rich and I'd always feel bad for my poorfag friends, I didn't like to invite them over to my house because it was kind of embarrassing that I had every new video game console and a flat screen TV and a pool and shit while most of my friends didn't even have air-conditioning.
I was spoiled to shit and ashamed of it. Ever since I moved out of my parents house I've been living very frugally and something about it feels somehow relieving, I don't like being rich.
