I find the concept interesting, though. With which I mean having your philosophy be as pure and free from the influence of others as possible. A bit like the pre-socratics whose undertaking it often, subconsciously or not, was to excerpt their innermost being, that is their being and not the being of others.

Hmm, you imply that I am uneducated but observing your poorly thought-out and written replies has my wondering if it is a poor attempt at a good rusing. I have read most of each works stated here, but I have the choice to agree with whoever I want and no one is worth or even up to par to my framework. You all may choose to believe whatever you want but most likely it is wrong.

No human being exists without being influenced by the thoughts of others. You are inculcated into the thought-frames of society the moment you're able to follow simple commands, learn words, etc. Parents, education, entertainment, etc.

It's a romantic notion. But it requires the philosophical disposition, a sharp enough intellect, the capacity to feel genuinely, the courage to actually live by what you say, and the depth of spirit to judge correctly. These things we inherit in any extent from the great minds of the past, from our wise elders, etc.

"I don't let others influence my thinking" means "I do not know nor am I interested in, the meaning of philosophy/being a philosopher."

Yeah, aside from being an abnormal weirdo, he jacked off in public, slept in jars, broke every social taboo openly, he had way too much perseverance and disregard for the opinion of others to be a robot, if anything he's what robots aspire to be, free from the shackles of polite society.
>>
>>28977459
Dumb, using the ideas of others to help shape your own is wise, for others have much experience and wisdom. That's not to say parrot everything they believe like a 101 philosophy student, but just take it in and see if it makes you feel any different or changes your perspective.

As for the loneliness and the degradation of women Schopenhauer is the top robot philosopher

Diogenes comes in second for our disdain for society.

There are quite a few that fit but these are the most popular among robots.

Yeah, you do. Maybe you think you don't, but you do.

You're the product of your genetics and conditioning. You WILL get conditioned by other human beings if you live on this earth, surrounded by other human beings.

Stirner, although I'm not as well-versed in philosophy as I'd like to be at present.

It's unfortunate that Stirner became a meme. He really does have some great advice for living, but everybody just hears the word "spook" and they go ape shit.

The very thought you can live without being influenced by ideology *sniff* in this day in age is cool, but misguided. Unless you live as a wanderer of sorts, it's very likely your views will just end up being influenced and given to you by your parents, home, schools and environment.

You cannot be John Connor anon, none of us can.
