My parents have ZERO understanding of things like sarcasm or irony. Holy fuck has it created some cringeworthy situations.
About 3 years ago I went on Facebook and asked this Chad from school if he could give me a girl. I literally begged him to get me one of his girls. He then told me to just be myself and then immediately unfriended me shortly after and blocked me from looking at his profile.
