Who else here is irrationally scared of house centipedes?
Now is the time of year that they start coming inside, so I've been seeing some in my room lately. I just killed one that was on my wall.
These little fuckers make me check every inch of my room before going to sleep, because I'm afraid that one will fall on me amd bite me (their bite hurts like a bee sting).

I live in New Mexico, the most common creepy crawler is the wolf spider but they're cool. They keep all the other bugs in check. Also we have vinegaroons. I haven't seen one in a long time but they're freaky. Pic related, they smell like vinegar and look like death.

Worst I've seen so far are bark scorpions. However, every entry way to my house has a bro tier black widow guarding for me. Every morning I walk outside my front door, which has two webs at each side, and I always see dead cockroaches or scorpions.
They (black widows) aren't known to come into the house and even if they do I've sprayed my entire house.....so everything dies.
The one time I encountered a centipede, it crawled up my leg very fast after I ripped the bong. Was ~9 inches in length and blood red. Scared the SHIT out of me, literally. My housemates once they caught it were in such awe at it they didn't give me shit for pooping myself. It was a god damn monster, and it was no pussy one like OP's. I'm thankful it didn't bite me; still have scars from my nails digging into my skin when I swiped it away.
One of those kept me up til sunrise while I was sleeping at a family member's house. I saw it briefly skitter across the floor and into a vent and that was all it took to stare at that vent for 6 hours or more. When it popped out and I got it with my shoe I couldn't feel the satisfaction due to the fear and fatigue.
Any bug larger than a fingernail will make me do shit like that and I really fucking hate it. Almost as much as I hate bugs.
