Find a guild
Go to meetup events, activity groups, and things like dance, yoga, group music lessons, etc where you interact with people. It is possible to make friends and meet women randomly out and about by yourself, but that rarely happens, even for Chad.

It's much, much harder than when you're in college or whatever, because you need to make an actual effort to stitch yourself into a peer group because your teachers/RA's/whomever won't do it for you.
So basically if you're like me, a constant nervous wreck and a sperg, it's fucking hopeless and you shouldn't even bother.
