Would electrocution be a relatively quick and painless way to go? Would it be worth finding a higher power than that which is in the house?
electric chairs use 2000 volts
subway propulsion systems use around 800 volts
your house uses 120 volts (possibly 240 depending on where you are in the world)
your house wouldn't kill you
if you could manage to apply 2000 volts across your body, it would be painless yes, but society makes it very difficult for civilians to have any access whatsoever to that kind of power
