I actually can't speak to people, I get anxious almost to the point of panic attacks just from adding people, I don't speak unless spoken to, and even then, it's mainly just letting people speak at me and then commenting on something to let them know I've read it all.

All of the raids, up to the Sunwell, are already released. Coupled with being able to buy gear there is no progression and I doubt anybody would want to run anything other than overgeared Karazhan/Black Temple runs.
And the server is so old anybody running the Sunwell is going to be completely decked out so there is no chance for a new person to get in on that.

I mean, I started today and there was a fair number of people questing in the starting area. I don't think everyone just pays to get to level 70. For me, leveling up is part of the fun I think there are others out there that think so too. I'm hoping to form a little PvE guild. We'll see what happens though.
