The recipe calls for 1 and 1/2 cup of sushi rice, and 2 cups of water.

I only have 1 and 1/4 cup of sushi rice, so how much water do I need?

to make it easy just use 2 cups of water except dont fill the second one up completely, a little difference wont matter

I ended up using 1 and 2/3 cups of water. Hopefully the rice doesn't end up crunchy.

But I guess crunchy rice is better than moist oatmeal-ish rice.

as long as youre withing +/- 20% or so of water, it really doesn't matter too much

But it just so turns out you got the right amount anyways
