So I'm going to a house party tomorrow night. Will probably have to either drink or smoke some weed to fit in, and get into a party mood. I have never drank (inb4 tips fedora) or done weed. Which should I choose if faced with the choice? A beer or a spliff...,which wears off faster, which will be more likely to make me do something stupid?

Drink throughout most of the evening and then finish off your night with a joint or something. Don't hit it heaps hard though, otherwise you might greenout. It's also a really dehydrating combination.
Drinking is fine, but don't smoke weed if it's your first time. Like another anon said, it can be overwhelming especially in a social setting. Better off trying weed alone or with a small group of people.

If you plan on talking to women then only drink. If you plan on sitting on the couch all night smoke weed. I second those who said to drink. I've got the impression that those who suggest weed are assuming that you would consume seas of alcohol, which undoubtedly would make you sick. If you don't overdo it you'll be fine and more sociable. At least, that's what I do once in a while

Drink 1 or 2 shots of Tequila or vodka max and then stick to beer. Trust me, if you are drunk enough so that you can drink 5$ vodka out of the bottle just fine, it's already too late ... Should have stopped drinking by then ...

Alcohol. Be sure to eat though before you go at the party though, you will get drunk much easier if you're hungry.
Some beer for starters would be nice, you won't get completely shitfaced no matter how much of it you drink.
Last party I went to a drank about 5-6 beer cans, got a bit dizzy part apart from that I was pretty relaxed and was aware of my surroundings. If you are feeling confident, try some other stuff as well but not in excess.
Also, nobody will tell you anything if you drink just beer, unless you are going at a really degenerate party

It depends how anxious you are around random people. If you are, drinking helps socialize while smoking makes you more paranoid. Just drink moderatly and you could actually enjoy the party.

cuz if he gets hammered and embarrasses himself, he would not go to another party.
smoke pot only if you are alone or with a girl or few close friends. smoking enough makes you do nothing and enjoy everything so it's good for these situations but it's a terrible party drug and smoking just a bit is a loser habit and is not worthy. beer is good. if you don't want to do anything crazy avoid booze and you'll be fine
