Not OP, but I can drink to the point of puking up and passing out and if I'm around other people I still don't say or do much.
If I'm alone I sometimes end up crying, hurting myself, or screaming, but around other people I always keep a tight lit on it. And that still applies with most drugs.

Alcohol lowers inhibitions. If you're a quiet robot who doesn't want to say anything, you still won't say anything. If you have tendencies to be a jackass, you'll be a jackass.
If I have 10 shots at a party I'll act like a tard because everyone else acts like a tard, even though I'm fairly aware of it. If I take 10 shots alone then I'll just sit there and think about life in my drunk stupor

It's like they think I can't manage to walk in a straight line because I had 2 drinks, which was no more than any of them had. Then on top of that, they were driving which is significantly less safe than walking.
It's strange though, they can't understand the idea of enjoying walking. People just look at you with a complete lack of comprehension.
