I have a wide definition of what I consider personally attractive. Some of the girls I've gone for my friends have considered completely unattractive, and yet I still fail to succeed with them.

Some of my friends are both poor, possibly undiagnosed autistic, and not conventionally attractive, and they still manage to have success with women.

Here's your issue, mate. Work on this. Ask out more girls. Go on dates. When you're out with your social circle make sure to impress people through whatever you're good at (in my case that's humor; I make everyone laugh, even the Chads, which impresses all of the girls present too). Also don't be to passive in group conversation.
If you're one-on-one with a girl make sure to flirt and tease, and try getting physical asap.
