i dont get taxes.i think in april i payed them all but i might have messed up. i mean taxes are taken out of your paycheck automatically, right? and since i work a near minimum wage job, i dont think i owe anything extra.
i mean, if somehow i did fuck it up, would they contact me first, or immediately arrest me? would they be a little sympathetic if i said i didn't really know what i was doing? if you owe 0$ in taxes to the town or whatever, do you still have to fill them out?
Why didn't you just look this up? Taxes are not taken automatically out of your paycheck, you have to report your annual income. At least you should have gotten an accountant if you really didn't know what you were doing.

kek. No, anon. If you did mess up, the IRS will send you a letter pointing out your error, and you'll have to pay the difference. It's no big deal.

I believe if you make more than like 10k a year you have to file.

Calm down spastic. You file taxes every April. Unless you owe a shit ton they wont come after you but there are penalties for filing late. IF you're a minimum wagekek then you'll most likely get a refund at the end of the year.
