How are my NEET friends on /r9k/ doing?
Any plans for today? Its a beautiful morning here in bongland and ive been up all night watching seinfeld and am now lying in bed watching the sunrise and reading LOTR
>tfw going for morning smoke and watching normies plod off to work soon
>tfw have a job I love
>tfw part of that job is seeing pasty rotund NEETs come in and try not die of fresh o2 exposure
>tfw get paid with a great health plan
>tfw my job has infinite security because of NEETs and so many more of society's failures
>tfw genuinely want to help them but having them simply come in is just fine for now

Uhh so what do you do
I am feeling good and tired, I had a weird sensual LSD experience with some friends and touched my first boob, was a good night for a NEET virgin.
All of you are ri-dock-ulous

I have to work for my dad tomorrow. Gonna work for him until I can get an internship at a respectable company so I'm fine with that. Least it'll give me something to do.
I was hoping to get a good fap in tonight but my brother in the other room laughed loud as fuck RIGHT when I came so I wasn't able to get any enjoyment out of it.
Also it's 12:47am here.

I'm a librarian. Don't worry, we don't remotely monitor your wi-fi use and know you're browsing /r9k/. We can casually pass by and see that you are, though.

What's it like post stories

It's a peaceful job so don't expect much. But I can give some descriptions and tidbits about people who come in by section:
Computer users:
Pretty much everyone, but you can tell who would use our wi-fi for /r9k/ or even dive into Wizardchan. One person like this who continues to come in every day is a large young man (16~20yrs, 6'1", 500 lbs by my guess) who is in right when we open, and down to the last second when we close. He always asks for a laptop to check out and proceeds to sit in a chair close to the checkout desk because of the 1hr limit we put in until you either renew at the desk or get a $1/hr fine for going over.
He's polite enough, but he always sits at an angle where I can see his screen. It's usually him bouncing between Runescape or /r9k/. Maybe Minecraft when he's feeling adventurous. He does make the effort to get up and go to us to renew the laptop, so he's not much of a bother.
It's kind of sad, really, seeing him come in every day like that. You can tell that he needs some kind of help, because he's so firmly stuck in this patter that I'm sure he's never going to help himself.
He also surprisingly doesn't have an offensive odor, even though he's quite massive. Unfortunately, he still does act childish and has outbursts from time to time.
Jacking off to dicks, kinda disgusted with myself as I type with hands full of cum and lotion, might play some fallout nv and eat something.
business as usual

Very lnteresting. Thanks for the input.

How sad. Hope that guy is reading this right now and understands the error of his ways.

Graphic Novels/Manga readers:
There's some overlap with the computer users, but there are some who browse and read in this section more often than they use computers. One such person certainly seems to be an /r9k/, possibly wizardchan user who seems to have some severe communicative issues to go along with several physical deformities - possibly a victim of FAS.
On the whole, he's not that bad of a guy. He knows a lot about the materials in this section and it's a good challenge, as a reference librarian, to try to find something new for him that we have in our collection. He comes in and asks me very stilted and scripted questions about a series ("what did you like about x?" "I like x series, do you?") so it's up to me to steer the conversation to recommendations.
He has the best of intentions, but he can cause trouble for us from time to time if he ever gets on the computers. He plainly asked me if we monitored computer use and I told him that yes, we can look casually to make sure nobody is doing something that would be considered indecent. Thing is, he has a history of looking at hentai and playing Meet n' Fuck-tier dating sims on the computer stations.
But anyway, he always does have something to talk about with the series he's currently into, and that's always a pleasure. I just hope he doesn't keep up his bad habit of misusing the computer stations, or else he'll get banned for repeatedly breaking the rules of conduct.

Children's Fiction/Non-fiction readers:
While you'd be right to assume an overwhelming majority of these people are children (and the parents who read with/to them), there are some odd ducks who come in from time to time, but they usually suffer from some sort of psychological condition that has stunted their mental age significantly. It's honestly more sad than it is troublesome.
However, we have people who come into this section who cause us a little bit of distress. One such case would be another large, young man (20~25yrs, 6'2", 600 lbs by my guess again) who browses this section every other day. The largest issue that I have with him is that he breathes very heavily, to the point where I keep an eye on him for a possible heart attack if I'm ever working in that section. In the end, I don't have anything good to say about him.
He's accompanied every time by this very much older woman, who I presume is his mother or equivalent guardian, who never seems to take her eyes off him.
I found out why when I saw him using a laptop one day.
He was using it to browse MLP porn in plain sight. Mercifully, he did so far outside the children's section so I could confront him about it, lest an innocent child came to investigate.
Here's a rough outline of the whole conversation:
>Me: Excuse me [taps shoulder]
>Him: [slowly looks over his shoulder] "What?"
>Me: [gesture to screen] "You aren't allowed to look at something like that in the library. Sorry, but I have to ask you to get off the computer."
>Him: "B-BUT I WASN'T DOING ANYTHING WRONG! NOT FAIR!"
>Me: "It is wrong and you'll have to get off the computer because of i-"
>Him: "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
>I'm mystified at this point, hearing someone actually do this in real life.
>Him: "I'M NOT GETTING OFF!"
>I get security, who is this old, sweet teacher.
>he manages to talk him down with his old man magic.
Apparently, his mother only really cares to watch him for hijinks if he's in an area with children.

I guess that's it for now. I have to get to bed so I can see you in the morning, my NEET friend.
>>28945328
I know you went to bed but
Aww, that sounds like a nice job. I already have one, and I'm guessing being a librarian is not really something I would do for only a bit (dream job is something in chemical engineering), but it sounds like something I'd enjoy. When you wake up, tell me about how you got it, I'd be interested.
