I have autism spectrum disorder and when I worked as grocery clerk, literally every other day there would be some such comment. One exact instance I remember was when I assisted a customer, and then I was done getting what they asked for, turned around and went back to work, and he complained that I was rude or "short" with him because I didn't flash a cheeky smile after the interaction like normies do.
Sometimes I truely wonder if I'm just antisocial, since if I'm comfortable around people I know I can smile at them, and I can smile at attractive women, but my facial expression freezes otherwise. Also, smiling at men feels gay and makes me uncomfortable. But having a moment with a cute woman where we lock eyes and are smiling at each other warms my heart and gives me a slight erection.

I would love to tell these kinds of people just how much their business doesn't matter at most of the places they shop in. Unless you were working the register at a mom and pop kind of place, the business is getting enough customers that no single individual really matters at all. And that aside, it's actually better for a business to eliminate problem customers who will clog up the wheels for your good customers; in the time it would've taken to coddle this one woman you could get through so many other customers that have their shit together. The money is clearly in serving those people, not her.
And if she's at a fucking Walmart or some shit? Walmart wouldn't feel it if twenty people like her left Walmart forever every day for a year.
