i got a watch on my 18th birthday as well, is it like some sort of tradition I don't know about?

Time flies after high school at break neck speeds and only gets faster
My dad always wants to get me gifts for my birthday and Christmas but I never know what to tell him. It depresses him because I have no interests, I just wageslave and that's it. Sometimes he brings up my depression.
My 30th birthday was just him and I at home. I didn't want to do anything. It's better to be at home then go out for your 30th birthday with just your dad I guess.

im graduating from college this week and it feels like i only graduated high school last month. it was an overall terrible 4 years and even though overall it feels like it flew by, nearly every day felt like an eternity of suffering.
At least I've gotten used to my own company. I think I snapped, but it's okay because at least now I can sit alone and laugh instead of lay down and cry. Being 21 definitely has helped.

Pretty much how it is right now.
The worst are all the people and memories getting lost in all this mess that is my life.
I really think I could connect with people better if I could remember their names for longer than two minutes.
Nevertheless I try to distract myself from the future with various interests.
Sailing, RPGs and being an adjutant(? closest approximation to my language) in a cub scout group are the best current time eaters.
I've been faking an outgoing personality for quite some years now. Gets tiring every once in a while.
That's why I vent here.
