I lived in Denmark for a while.
The weather definitely isn't nice. It rains all the fucking time. Summer is very short there. It gets dark at like 3pm in Winter.
Also Danes are lazy fuckers. They won't serve you in a shop or restaurant, they'll just do the minimum. And the worst thing is they are self-righteous about it.
And it's a tough place to make friends. All of them made their friends in kindergarden and everyone else is just a "new friend" even if they have known you for 5 years.
Apart from that it's a really chill place and good to live in. Would rather live there than 90% of places in the US. But the aforementioned things are annoying.

That's the other thing I forgot to mention actually, and it's by far the worst thing about Denmark. The restaurants close at 9pm. And most good bars and restaurants are closed all day sunday, monday and sometimes even tuesday and wednesday. And that's in Copenhagen!

You don't have anything even close to that chill in Cali, and there's a great range of grass, hash and even a few concentrates there.
