It's worth a shot if you're neet to check out, but no gaurentees they'll work. It is shit, but even regular part time work is better than nothing (theoretically, it could be worse if benefits are involved, but I dunno)
I know "network" is an almost useless word to people like us, but if you have friends or family it can't hurt to inquire about possible openings (I know I know, I rather die as well)

Make your resume and check your government's website that gives tips on how to write a resume and what words to put in there, and throw the resume on /biz/ for people to critique it so you get better at it. Make sure to exaggerate your abilities and your personality on the resume, and BS your way through it. There's places that will hire 19 year olds you're not that far gone.
