>watch brief video about "Simpson's Wave"
>watch the videos out of curiosity

>spend hours watching simpson's wave videos and then simpson's videos in general when those ran out
Goddamn, this show is so nostalgic, and these videos are like watching my childhood as a failed outsider.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCb3rblTEdsNo, seriously, I consider the above video a masterpiece
What a coincidence, I just started watching Simpsonwave videos today.
>tfw I posted this one to my facebook, and a girl who I have a date planned with liked it

Goddamn, Simpsons puts the feels to me.
What's your favorite episode famalam? I'm pretty fond of Mr.Plow, since I live in a snowy place.
I've been watching these too. I think they add or at least suggest a layer of depth that I never appreciated at the time. The fact that the characters weren't just goofy retards chasing each other around etc. I lack the skills to edit videos but I would love to see (and I think it would appeal to a huge audience) if someone put together a bunch of movie clips from 1980s & 1990s coming-of-age movies. In almost all of these movies there was a beta shy kid and it would be neat to see them all together with a vaporwave song or even just like some cheesy nostalgic music over the top.
lol im 18 and I feel nothing, theyre cook tho
What the fuck is this
I absolutely love it lads tbqh
Why can't I stop laughing at this stuff? Feels ironic as fuck.

Its ironic because a popular show from the 90's captured, influenced and explored said decade in a more meaningful, memorable, and honest way than most optimistic journalism during the period.

Yeah, these videos give me super powerful feels. Don't worry, you'll probably get a summer lover soon. My recommendation is drinking, if you drink any social anxiety you have will fade, just keep going to the same places and drinking. Pick a place like a bar that does live music shows or stand-up comedy. That's where I met my last summer lover. The downside is you become an alcoholic especially when you break up. I guess that's not so much advice as what's happened to me. But that's what you should do if you want to be a lonely alcoholic that occasionally goes on dates with girls.
For my favourite episode, I don't know. Been a long time since I watched the Simpsons. The episodes that stand out in my memory are when Homer is tripping in the desert and meets his spirit animal, and the one when they go to Japan and there's Mr. Sparkle (would be a great ep for a Simpsonwave vid). Other than that I just have a blur of random scenes from the show in my head.
Crazy how the show is still going. Is it the longest running TV series ever?
I'm not even american but this vid gives me strange nostalgia vibes of a life I never had

Oh anon, but thanks for the encouragement.
Yeah, the Mr.Sparkle episode is incredible, and definitely a good source for a simpsonswave vid.

I'm a 23 year old virgin. Probably headed toward wizardhood despite my normie-traits.
Hopefully someone makes/has made a Sparklewave video.

I'd like to see that too, if it was something like this but with your theme instead of commercials it would be even more bittersweet

Yep, it has 27 seasons so far. 27.
