It makes an incredible smell. You basically slow roast the weed. A fan by the stove might help disperse the smell a bit.

hiding the smell from the outside or the inside? Your only real option is to open the windows or keep them closed. It gone smell. If you have an air filter that'll help a small bit.

Leave windows open, should have a bit of a smell anyway nothing you can really do. Make sure not to cook the weed or brownies too long or you'll fuck up the potency. How much are you using?
