Generally when someone invites you to a group social gathering it is understood that you will not spend all your time talking exclusively to each other and both of you will split up and hang out with other people. This is why normies have that meme about "the friend who follows you around like a dog whenever you invite them to parties" or whatever it is. You were supposed to integrate yourself into their group or at least chat up one or two of her other friends. If you knew you weren't capable of this I don't know why you would even agree to go with her in the first place.

Real OP here. I just got back from being in the pool, did some swimming and exercise. Was admittedly much better than just sitting around for another forty five minutes.
Then, to my surprise, she left. She didn't even tell me, but her friends are still here. Anyways, I'm going home. Thanks for trying to help me out, you guys aren't as bad as I thought you were
