Same here OP. If I don't have a use for it, or don't find it meaningful to me in any way, I throw it away. Feels good having a lot of free space. Easier to travel too. I've moved four times in the last year and I only need a van to transfer every possession I own including furniture.

I find minimalist home interior to be a special kind of hell.
OP's pic obviously isn't that, it's very small and comfy, I like that.
As for lifestyle, I can't do it, I have a bunch of things that aren't directly necessary for my survival but I still keep them around.
