Alright robots, this is something that I'll never forget. This just happened to me.

>Ned had a stroke six months ago, and the now-dead partner had been taking care of him
>Ned can barely stand up at times, but he has to walk for two hours a day in order to get over the effects of the stroke
>neither of them had any family or friends
>as social services are trying to get a funeral home out here to remove the body, Ned becomes constantly more and more disoriented
>he goes into a seizure
>paramedics come again and take him away
>the police were still there, so they knew what to do while I just stood there like a pussy faggot
>social services saying that he will probably be put in a home
So in one morning I saw and touched a dead body, then watched as his partner had a seizure from the stress.
I feel so bad for him. His partner has been dead for hours and they're already deciding to send him to a home.
It's probably the right decision, but it feels wrong.
Due to the stroke, Ned thinks that he was just speaking to his partner and that the partner had just stopped talking. However, he'd been dead for hours. I doubt that we'll ever find out the timeline of that night.
And the worst thing is, during the whole time, I couldn't stop thinking that it should have been Ned who died. With that stroke and the death of his partner that he's been with for 20+ years, he's going to be suffering for the rest of his life.

The concept of dead bodies is weird.
We have a brain that we can process things with.. When we die it stops and all that's left is a body

It was quite a shock to me. A living, breathing human being quickly turned into a white, cold hunk of flesh. Touching it was the weirdest thing I've ever done. His eyes were blue, yet misty because he was dead. The reminded me of a recent character that was hanged in Game of Thrones.
