It's not like one male getting pushed off though and the loners group up till they die or find a pride. I watch videos of Lions sometimes, they're strong but fuck are they ever goofy looking with coordination and balance, it's like the male just comes out to grab on and wrestle something to the ground until another lion comes along and helps him kill it.
Tigers are much better hunters, I've seen less videos of them but a wild tiger would definitely scare the shit out of me a lot more than a lion even though both could probably make a snack out of me.

At best gorilla would probably fight off the tiger if it's lucky. It's not going to win a head on charge if it gets some lucky punches in before it gets maimed too badly. Tiger would probably just say fuck this and leave after it fucked up the gorillas day after the first clash or two.
Siberian Tiger or Polar Bear?
I've got them at about 50/50. Polar bears weigh about twice as much and have more "padding" (fur, fat), unlike lions and gorillas. Plus they are strictly carnivorous.

Depends on which tiger species. If Siberian tiger, it wins almost always. There is actually a wiki page about lions vs tiger encounters. While there are cases of lions killing tigers, it only seems to happen when 1. the tiger somehow couldn't defend itself, 2. the tiger is female or 3. the tiger is young and not fully grown.
In almost all "fair" encounters the tiger win. Confirmed by the romans.

They are usually in a group, be it a normal pride or a group of other males. Rarely do they operate alone, they aren't good at it anyway unless some great opportunity comes along.
