I have no problem people finding out that I listen to noise of all kinds, shoegaze, etc. If people find out that I unironically enjoy J-pop from time to time, I would have to end my life. Something about the cheesy, forced, manufactured "brightness" of it all is really enjoyable at times.
Funnily enough my room has figs, vidya posters, anime wallscrolls and other cringeworthy shit so it should be a given that I would ocasionally listen to some generic j-pop shit. Still, its all too shameful.
