Are there are Mensa members here? If so, what's it like? I'm sure a few of you have at least tried to join before.

You probably send them a few dollars a month and get access to their newsletter and a shinny medal and a mug
Same with all the other scams
160 iq here, I don't want to spill all of our secrets or else they may find me but mensa is actually a cult established around an alien signal they found 50 years ago. The purpose of mensa is to gather the smartest humans to make the first contact when the aliens land.

r9k+1, pls. don't be smart asses
If I bringed a bucket of stones, threw them at a table and told 20 people to stack them claiming the one who could stack the most is a genius would it actually measure high intelligence?
The answer is yes as lo g as I define intelligence as the hability to stack rocks
If you want to measure the brain capabilities of a person you shouldn't do it with a couple of puzzles but rather a brain scan
Mensa biggest members make a living of designing iq tests and managing Mensa, if that doesn't rise red flags to you then you shouldn't bother measuring your intellect
There is probably a genetical reason why some people out stone others whoever they don't measure intelligence, they redefine intelligence to measure themselves
god i hate iq measuring contests.

What's the cutoff IQ? I could probably get in.
Is there any reason to, though? It looks like a back-patting club for faggots who are proud of something completely meaningless in the long run.

Confidence is quiet. Insecurity is loud.

that would make a nice tv show
>it's literally useless except for bragging rights
Mensa is just a fucking intellectual wankfest. Not worth it.
