That day, when I said I didn't go to my prom, the girl that asked me said "that's sad". I challenged her: "What's sad about it?"

That was it. I didn't give a shit. She gave wayy more of a shit than I did and probably always will. Not my problem.
Since the day of my prom that I didn't go to, I have done skydiving, graduated college, lived in Thailand as a teacher for a year, had 2-3 long term girlfriends, did karate, learned how to drive, went on a roadtrip to an anime con, and other shit I don't feel like typing.
My life is fine after prom and it will continue to be awesome now.
