It's a fundamental hardwired difference. Men want to change; they are interested in the substance of change. They want actually to imprint their will onto either the world or themselves. Women care about the perception of themselves. Whether it is real or, more conveniently, just a fiction or lie, it doesn't matter. How they are being seen is their endgame. They brains are indifferent to what is actually the real result of their disingenuousness as soon as they're seen in a certain way.
