My hair line receded enough and enough of the top thinned out I just shave it for a chrome dome. It sucks but It hasn't affected me too much.

Meh. I'm 23 and have a receding hairline. I started using Rogaine and now I'm almost back to where I was as a teenager. I'm happy with my results, but I'm not going to be devastated if it stops working in a few years. Most men end up losing their hair at some point or another. All of the bald guys I know still manage to do alright with women.
