In a week I will be going to my first house party. There's going to be around 15 people there, guys and girls. I'm incredibly autistic when it comes to these situations and there's girls I like there. I'm just thinking that'll I'll probably be standing in a corner alone for most of it.

Get drunk so you are not afraid of saying something stupid and smoke weed so that you get a little bit more relaxed. The point of drugs is that you stop overthinking everything and start doing something. drink 4-8 beers, but keep pace with everyone else. don't slam 4 drinks while everyone else is still on their first. i wouldn't smoke weed if you don't already know how it effects you.
this is the most important though. listen to people when they talk to you, and respond to what they say. sounds dumb but most of the time when im sperging it's cause i'm thinking about what other people think about me and thinking of what i should say and how they're going to respond and because i'm not actually listening i say something way out of context or just stare like a fish when it's my turn to talk, cause i have no fucking idea what they've been talking about.

There's plenty of advice in here, but I'll give you a simple rubric for having a successful evening; do whatever seems like the scariest thing to do. Keep on with that and you'll probably be fine.
People have the drugs covered. In short, drink but don't smoke weed. And pace yourself on the drinks.

Not weed, its effects are too unreliable on certain people, just go for alcohol until tipsy, beyond that i have no advice because I've never been to a house party or let alone invited to a social event
