Good job man! I start my first job soon too, it's a nice comfy library job at my school. Campus will be pretty empty because it's summer so there probably won't be much work to do and I work nights so I can still day drink to cope with existence.

Thanks anon - that's what I'm hoping. I've maintained a good relationship with both owners and I'd expect I can use both as references.
Although it could still work out and I could still have a job but the company will never be the same sadly, it's caused rifts among people who used to get along great and loved their job.
I think part of the scariness is that I've been in employment since 2008 after getting out of HS - so it's not easy to think about not having a job.
