I read a book. It wasn't a difficult book or a long book or anything special but I read a book from cover to cover. I don't think I've read a book since I was like 13. As a kid I read all the time. I should probably start reading more.
good for you, flamingo. Have a nice day
What book was it nerd?
How many pages?
Now read Infinite Jest

Now read the Holy Bible.

world war z. it was okay. I bought it at an airport like 3 years ago for next to nothing when I needed something to pass the time with and everyone kept saying it was nothing like the movie but I ended up sleeping the entire flight.
few weeks ago I didn't feel like playing vidya or shitposting and noticed it on my desk. so I started reading. I don't even like zombies.

I already have a backlog of books I've gotten as presents or aqcuired by other means. 50/50 fictional or history

you too thank you
Books are boring
i read fahrenheit 451 when i was 16 and i liked it
i want to go to the library but it's so far away. i'd read stuff off of my phone but reading books off of a shattered 4 inch screen is extremely difficult.

nice repeating digits
it's not just the size of the screen. reading ink on paper is so much more comfortable than reading a monitor
>>28880219
yeah that too. books can be cumbersome in some situations, though. maybe an e-reader would be ideal but i can't say because i've never used one. i'm talking about the ones with paper-like screens.

Trips then quads, love it
>>28880271
yeah I've heard they're much easier on the eyes. you know you can buy most older books from amazon for like $1-3. sure a library is free but it's not an expensive hobby even if you can't go to a library
>>28880285
>>28880292
$1-3 is expensive when you have 0 money. i would totally go to the library but it's at least an 8 mile journey one way on a very busy road.
>>28880535
sorry i didn't mean to quote the other guy
>used to read books a lot
>ADHD kicks in full force in puberty
>read less than a book a year
Doesn't help I'm 26 at uni now. A-at least I can do male stuff?
>>28880535
no one has 0 money. I'm a neet too living off neetbux. food, water and electricity cost money and you're living and posting on the internet so clearly you have more than 0 money. $2 for a book once or twice a month isn't going to break anyone's budget if they're already managing to stay alive in a western country.

>no one has zero money

Get a load of this normalfag.

i live with my father and i'm too timid to ask for things. really it can't be helped.
>>28880651
ask him to give you a ride to the library? he'll probably be glad you're reading and not just sitting on the computer tbqh
>>28880733
i would but he's usually too ill to drive.
i guess if i'm ever interested in reading something i'll just have to read it on a monitor.
