Most of the time, women catch me looking at them and have a disgusted look on their face. Other times, I catch women looking at me with apprehension. I try my hardest to avoid looking at women at night on the bus in case one of them wants to accuse me of rape or something.

one time i had a huge smile on my face because a shitty asian band was doing a cover on the quad and i thought it was funny, and i had my normal thousand yard stare. then i noticed a qt was in my line of sight and thought i was smiling at her, and she smiled back and held a stare as we walked towards each other. of course i looked to the ground like a fucking autist. again this was literally 1 fucking time in my life.
i often think about that. my one and only shot to ever talk to a girl and i fucking blew it.
Well a girl smiled at me today as I was walking down the stairs at my workplace and I smiled back.
Pretty sure she said bye to me when my shift ended but I couldn't completely hear her and didn't reply back.

Actually, yes. They laugh at my jokes too, which is nice. My humor is dry, edgy and sarcastic and I'm too sperg to really filter anything out.
It's just hard to figure out are the laughs awkward and the smiles condecending; it might be that they're not used to dealing with someone as unreserved as me, and try to nonverbally to deter me. I don't know if anything they do is genuine.
I guess I'm just oblivious to faceciousness, and can't for the life of me figure them out. Especially the daughter of my employer.

when I catch them checking me out, I smile at them and hold their gaze, the shy ones just look away, the assertive/confident ones return the smile; with the later, this usually carries out whenever we run into each other.
it's shame though, the shy ones are the ones I want to talk to and say hi to, but they they can't make eye to save their life.
