My advice is to distract yourself from food. Get addicted to something fun, like a video game or something, to the point that you'd rather do it than eat, at least up until you're really genuinely hungry.

For instance, I've been hungry for hours but I'm addicted to shitposting. 4chan has lost me over 30lbs over the past year.

Unless you're eating about 2000 kcal now, your body's gonna burn muscle before it burns fat. You want about a 500 kcal deficit at most, anon. Find a calorie calculator on the internet and start with that minus 500 kcal.

For exercise, you can't build much muscle while dieting, so don't try to start lifting or anything like that. What you want is aerobics, i.e. cycling, swimming, running, etc. The easiest to do is running. Start Couch to 5k and keep that up. If it's too slow, or too fast, adjust to fit your level of fitness.

This is optional I guess, but you'll lose weight faster if you're exercising in addition to your dieting.
