Not saying you'll ever be da Vinci, Anon, but you're gonna have to slog through lots of practice to get better. Just like any skill. Let go of your expectations and just draw for fun.
Maybe watch some advice things. Look up Plague of Gripes on youtube.
Try enough, and you'll get better. Even if you don't have it in you to be amazing, you'll be better and it'll be easier to keep more motivated.

Thanks famalan, your works not to shabby. It's all about adding layers. Colouring used to be daunting to me at first, but eventually with enough practice I got decent with it.
Maybe you have the simple urge to Create. I was heavily into Second Life, and you can upload your own textures to it to enhance your own builds.The pic is of a dance club I made. The blue walls and trim were made from a random picture of ice I Photoshopped into seamless tiles and trim. The plants were pictures of Mandelbulbs placed on a special box that would allow it to be viewed ftom every angle as plantlife. The trees and crystal grass changed color,and people would dance in fog to New Age music from a radio stream. And there's a lot more to see,people made everything there and you will be amazed at the skill and beauty of places there. And there are places to help you learn to build as well. Come and See!
