Anyone else cutting ties with their family?

I don't mean my main family (Dad,Mam,Brothers) but just my external ones like cousins and aunts and uncles. I never got the idea why I should be forced to socialise and get along with my mother's sister or my dad's brother when neither of them had anything to do with bringing me into this world or raising me. I hate my cousins too. They all made fun of me as a kid and can't understand why I'm a bit weird. Now apparently they all think I'm some selfish asshole who doesn't care about his family. But the thing is,their right. I don't care about them. I only care about my internal family.

Also,why did my fucking mam and dad have to have like 8 siblings each?
