Every man should have an artistic outlet. It lets you dig deep into who you are as a person and express that inner-self. A lot of them you wouldnt even have to leave the house for either, and aren't very expensive outside of the initial costs of getting into it.
Pic related, woodcarving is something you can do at your house and the beginner projects (like the pic) are still cool enough to make you feel rewarded for doing it

hell yeah, making cool shit is all that gives my life meaning. used to make music a lot but i've slowly lost interest in that and have turned to 3d modeling, texturing, rigging, animating, etc. ultimately, i'd like to make a game, but that's a lot of work for one man, so i get discouraged frequently. but i still enjoy making stuff anyway and fantasizing about what my game could be if i had infinite time and resources.

I used to play guitar but not so much anymore. I'll pick it up every few days and dabble on it for an hour or so. I've been doing a little bit of skeletal reconstruction whenever I find animal skeletons during hikes. I'm more into physical activity than I am artistic output
