I have lived in Korea for almost half my life and never have I even seen or heard of anyone not washing their hands post shit. That's absolutely disgusting. Almost everyone washes their hands even post piss.
I think you just befriended some really gross people and just had a generally bad experience in Korea. I used to go to Seocho a lot and visited Gangnam, Myeongdong, and Apgujeong a few times but I could always tell that people were considerably more pretty and effay in rich neighborhoods.
