I've always wanted someone to play 40K with. It's my favorite fictional setting but I'd be willing to get into others too for variety.
Unfortunately I've never met anyone who liked it, let alone to the extent that I do. At my work there are a few groups of people that play D&D and such but they're cliques and my attempts to get into them in the past resulted in "we'll let you know when a spot opens" and never another word.
So I gave up. I'd just like to talk to someone that gets how I feel about things. Not just dumb nerd shit like that. Whatever else too. Just so long as they're genuine. I'm tired of spouting memes.
Now that I think about it, I wish I knew people who browse 4chan. We could talk in 4chan lingo and say weeb expressions and make 4chan references on our daily lives.
If I could have a 4chan gf I'd be so happy.

It does. I'd be willing to play anything honestly. 40K especially, but I wouldn't be against any RPG like Pathfinder or a Star Wars one or Flames of War or Infinity or maybe even Warmachine in addition to 40k.
I watch battle reports and browse /tg/ all the time to vicariously live my interests out through other people since I don't have any friends either aside from two autists that prefer to watch anime parodies and spew memes and link me funnyjunk pictures. I just can't work with that.
I once had a friend that understood how I felt, and I think it was mutual. But then he fucked the girl he knew I liked. I don't trust people anymore.
