1. Have parents that aren't shit. Louie's mom is a whore who lives with her abusive, manipulative boyfriend. If your parents are relatively healthy, they won't create such issues
2. Be pleasant towards them. Be polite, help out around the house, and don't argue. Doing chores in exchange for free room and board is a fucking steal, 1000 times better than being a wageslave. Don't act like an ass about it
