But the fact that he doesn't chirp that much isn't that bad,mine even does it for attention, aka, when I try to eat at the table and ignore him he'll get needy and start chirping very fucking loud.

I was wanting to buy my first cockatiel so I looked on gumtree for ones in the local area, saw that one for just a tenner with a cage and everything. I went to buy it and it was some uni kids in a dirty flat, the cage was tiny, he hadnt been cleaned and was dirty, his cage hadnt been cleaned and he hadnt been let out in 3 years or had his wings clipped.
I give him the money (probably for weed) and got him a nice cage, cleaned him and everything but he never really came out of his shell.
Later on I bought the white one, he was only a few months old and I introduced them slowly (separate cages) and at first they didnt bother with each other, buy after a while I moved them into the same cage and they were basiaccly like brothers, cleaned each other, always shared a perch, never thought. All though the older one got annoyed at times but the white one is incredibly annoying.
They love each other though, its really sweet.

He was actually quite nice, said it had been left by his ex gf when she moved out and he didnt want it so he was selling it.
I just felt he could have cleaned its cage a bit more, its not exactly a difficult task.
And thank you, yeah hes pretty happy now, getting old though.
