College is basically a meme anyways unless you got something lined up already or have friends and family in high places. I literally had 15 and 16 year old chinks and indians in my class who skipped because they already knew Calc I-III. A few of them were better at programming than some of the white kids in my first-year CS courses, despite them bragging about "hacking" and "modding."
Not even joking.
I only got my first job in the field because of my aunt, despite having a 3.8 GPA in a STEM field in a top 10 university in my country. Got interviews, but no job offers. She was my last resort. Maybe my social skills are just whack, but a ton of these places hire people who barely speak English, so I don't think that was it. Being female helped, I guess?

Yes, it's a necessary prerequisite for entry-level shit, but only because it's all that exists. Everyone's just there to get their I'm-not-a-retard credential, which is made useless by the fact that you can graduate while being pretty damn retarded, I would know as I'm a poli sci major.
Even the minority percentage of people who are learning skills they will actually make a career out of could learn faster, cheaper, and more effectively online if the right tools were available. And even then, Pajeet is ready to do your job cheaper from day 1.
