Every time I talk to my mum on the phone she asks me if I've been "out". I then tell her about how I went outside and bought some food from various places or went shopping.

Is this what she means by out? I ask her " What do you mean?" and she replies "I don't know, have you been out?".

Is this how normal people communicate? Is one of us autistic? What is she trying to ask me when she says this?
