I think the main reason people find this so funny is that it mixes anime references with ebonics, as well easy having several self-aware moments. It's also filmed somewhat well for what it is. Most of the "anime-parody" videos i've seen involving white people usually involve poor quality cameras, bad camera work, and awkward acting. It also uses mostly mainstream anime references that the black crowd could understand as well, such as SNK, naruto, and dbz. Just my 2cents.I personally liked the video.
