OP, why the fuck didn't you simply contact the hardware supplier, and worst case scenario simply purchase the individual parts if the supplier wouldn't give them to you for free? Obviously Geek Squad doesn't have spare parts lying around for every supplier, hence why he said they'd replace the whole keyboard. I just don't understand why you'd contact Geek Squad (a general service tech support mainly geared towards the technologically retarded) and not your hardware supplier (which is your absolute best bet for getting the right parts and help.)
