I am not sure what dark matter is myself. Just imagine you put grains of sand in a jar mixed with small shards of iron, then put a magnet at the bottom and tip the jar upside down. To my understanding it is among the matter we can interact with, but requires a certain strength of gravity to manipulate and interact with.

We are unsure about the nature of timelines or their reaction to our actions. From our previous time travel missions we have not seen the direct impacts of our actions, from our perspective.

Speaking of which, the only confirmed theory in this day and age that would allow time-travel to exist is beyond our current technology.
You need a hollowed sphere/spiral structure that is denser than our sun, it cannot be larger than the moon for practical reasons. You need to be able to get the structure to move in opposite direction of where the space-time is going, and it needs to be going fast, really fast.
Once it reaches optimal speed and granted you haven't been squashed from the gravitational effects, you would see the universe start to turn backwards.
After that things become fuzzy but if you are able to keep relative speed close to the spinning/rotating sphere in the direction it is going,you would have succeeded in time-traveling and creating a man-made blackhole in the future.
