I went on a 4 month foreign internship to Vienna but I forgot to take anime with me on my laptop or external drive, and I was too scared to download it during my time there because if the dorm administration would notice it I'd be fucked. After those 4 months I somehow didn't pick it up again because catching up with both the old as the new season felt too daunting. It's a pretty dumb reason desu.

It's along the lines of Azumanga Daioh in that it's also based on a 4koma and stays true to that spirit, so don't expect much plot or realistic characterization. Main differences are that Nichijou's material tends much farther towards the absurd and the animation itself is much better.
It's a very solid show and definitely deserves a watch.
