Climbing mountains is for rich people. It's pointless. You get nothing for it. You are not doing any productive work getting up there. There's nothing waiting up there no prize. You walk past a bunch of dead people on the way up, even if they clean up the corpses it's just going to give idiots that think they have enough money to do it a false sense of confidence.

This is bullshit and you know it. "Average Joe Dies on Mt Everest" does not making for an interesting headline. She died of altitude sickness, not because of inadequate nutrition.
Hundreds of people have died making the trek.

Slight correction by the way, a vegan diet is not any more "improper" than the average nonvegan's diet. It is generally accepted by the medical community as being A-OK, as long as you get your nutrition advice from informed sources, of course.
Climbing the Mount Everest has become a meme over the last year.
The only danger are getting sick from altitude sickness (well, bad luck, or God's for for killing of bad genetics) and some avalanches.
You don't need any skills to get to the top but just money.
