I was reading his whole story yesterday, it took me hours.
Fiction or not, his greentext generated some heavy feelings I haven't felt for a long time. His writings contain something very sad, it paints a picture of a grown, 25 year old man who still got the emotional interior of a 16 yo teenager, insecure af and anxious at every step. I felt like he's never happy, not even when he's with her, because he still thinks of himself like the biggest loser on earth.
It almost reads like a coming of age story that has some very tragic feeling, because it happens too late for him, as he's so damaged inside.

Sure they are. But if this would happen to some robot who's only 17 or 18, it could save him. I'm just one year younger than the character in escortbro's story and I feel like it's too late for me.
