I dont understand that platter
>tfw sushi is easy af to make but for some reason always really expensive whenever you get it at a restaurant
There's this buffet that's sort of nearby that I've been wanting to try for awhile now. It's very inexpensive, and it'd be nice to load up on food that might be mediocre but at least isn't microwave shit. But I have no car, bike was stolen, I'd have to take the bus. Always too much of a hassle, but one of these days!

Nigga i smash platters like the mad hatter

tfw no weeb fish homemade like pic related
Posting in a sushi thread.
If i had the money it'd be pho and sushi every day, with the occasional curry or enchilada.
Cucked to protein powder and sardines, though.

I live in Houston. I wouldn't recommend ''''Mexican'''' food anywhere, even here, there's only a few places that serve good stuff. I would have said menudo or mole but I wanted to bump the culture while breaking away from the soup theme yet not saying something quite as generic as "taco".
>>28797398
the only enchilada's i've ever had were homemade by a non-mexican
piggu disgusting
>have no food
>stop at grocery store
>buy 5 packs of cookies
who here /seared tuna/
>>28797348
pretty sure you can get vegan sushi with the exact same taste
>>28797513
>vegan eel
what is wrong with you
>>28797426
Oh, hell yeah. You've got to get them green and made by a family-owned Mexican joint, not a big restaurant that happens to have a bunch of Mexicans in the kitchen. Somehow, that's not the same...

>Those overpriced Talente gelatos at 4am
>>28797571
I mean, a particularly rubbery meat substitute with some of that sweet sauce they coat the eel with should just about do it.
>>28797599
What is wrong with you
no
what no
This stuff looks so good
The only sashimi places here sell westernized "sushi" slathered in tomato sauce :(
>>28797629
>tomato sauce
u wot m8 family
where do you live
>>28797599
Yeah, this would probably make sense
I don't think it's really the eel itself that gives it its unique flavor
